Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- Experience in event management or related field
- Practicing Catholic or Christian in good standing with the Catholic Church
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and remain poised
- Flexibility to travel as needed for events

Job Duties
- Leading up (supporting Event Director/team)
- Share new initiatives that can improve our current event management strategies
- Manage MD Events smartsheet dashboard for all assigned events
- Manage specific MD Events including FOCUS Events, SEEK, and Special Projects
- Receive overall satisfaction rating from benefactors and colleagues for any event
- Mitigate identified challenges by 90 percent
- Review post-event survey and stakeholders for success post-event
- Identify key action items with prospect management team
- Provide follow-up for several weeks until complete
- Oversee stewardship, gifts and thank you notes
- Review final billing from speakers, hotel, tax exemption, hotel points, etc. and work with accounting to ensure all vendors are paid on time
- Communicate to leadership efficacy of the event and complete after action review 3-weeks post event and ROI analysis 12-months post event with Event Director
- Ensure creation and delivery of physical/digital invitations
- Make invitations and assist with phone calls as needed
- Track responses and registration
- Answer questions from team and attendees
- Gather attendee bios and research as needed
- Manage budget for each event and report to Event Director (budget within 5 percent)
- Maintain proactive and regular communication with benefactors, host, event teams, vendors, MD teams, and speakers
- Manage vendor relationships including hotels, venues, speaker contracting, and negotiate savings annually
- Manage function space including room design and needs
- Provide onsite hospitality to attendees and VIPs
- Coordinate travel to/from event when applicable
- Participate in the strategy and planning for SEEK benefactor experience and mission supporter journey
- Oversee specific initiatives for SEEK supporters
- Collaborate with other departments, team members, and assist overall needs of the FOCUS Mission Foundation as needed
