The Senior Event Specialist position at Catalent, based at the Tampa, Florida office, is a full-time salaried role pivotal to the planning, execution, and optimization of the company's global events portfolio. This portfolio encompasses a wide variety of marketing events, including trade shows, industry conferences, and virtual events across multiple business units. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Omnichannel Marketing and collaborating closely with the Manager of Event Marketing, the Senior Event Specialist undertakes the responsibility of ensuring these events are flawlessly executed within the broader context of Catalent's omnichannel marketing strategy. The role requires managing logistics, timelines, and communications among stakeholders for small to medium-scale events while coordinating campaign creation and delivery. Maintaining a global master event calendar, registering attendees, hosting training sessions, and contributing to post-event analyses are integral parts of this position. The role demands close partnership with various internal teams such as sales and marketing to analyze event metrics, including lead generation and attendee engagement. Additionally, the Senior Event Specialist frequently collaborates with third-party agencies to manage exhibit design, shipping, audiovisual needs, catering, accommodation, and entertainment to ensure seamless event experiences. This role requires approximately 30% travel internationally, highlighting the global nature of Catalent's operations. Ideal candidates will bring a background of at least three years in project or event management within marketing, preferably in a life sciences B2B environment, with proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, and advanced industry certifications are desirable.   • Minimum three years' experience in project management, event management or marketing
  • Understanding of life sciences, particularly in a B2B environment, desired
  • Advanced industry certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or related CRM systems
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds

Job Duties

  • Manage logistics, timelines, and stakeholder communications for small to medium scale tradeshows, conferences and virtual events, across multiple business units
  • Create and manage event campaigns
  • ensure deliverables and milestones are met and act as the primary point of contact for these events
  • Maintain and communicate global master event calendar
  • Register all attendees, host pre-show training, and contribute to post-show debriefs
  • Partner with the Omnichannel Marketing team to assist in pre-event promotion through all communication mediums (email, social, etc.)
  • Work with 3rd party agencies to ensure all event logistics are complete
  • exhibit design, graphics, shipping, A/V, F&B, hotel, entertainment, etc.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to analyze and report on event metrics, including new lead generation and customer/attendee engagement
  • Maintain inventory and shipping of event support materials (product, literature, giveaways, etc.)
  • 30% annual global travel expectations
  • Other duties as assigned
