Job Requirements

  • Practicing Catholic or Christian in good standing with the Catholic Church
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Experience in hospitality, business, communications or management
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple events and projects
  • Strong leadership qualities

Job Duties

  • Lead event management activities supporting the Event Director and team
  • Share new initiatives to improve event strategies, proposing at least two annually
  • Manage the MD Events smartsheet dashboard for assigned events
  • Oversee a set number of events annually including approximately 15 FOCUS events across multiple cities
  • Mitigate challenges by reviewing post-event surveys to achieve a 90% success rate
  • Identify key action items with prospect management and provide follow-up until completion
  • Oversee stewardship, gifts, and thank you notes
  • Review final billing and coordinate vendor payments with accounting
  • Communicate event efficacy and complete post-event analyses including AAR and ROI
  • Ensure creation and delivery of physical and digital invitations
  • Track registration and answer attendee inquiries
  • Manage budget within 5% variance and report to Event Director
  • Maintain communication with benefactors, hosts, event teams, vendors, and speakers
  • Manage vendor relationships including contracts and negotiations for venues, speakers, and other services
  • Provide onsite hospitality including greeting arrivals and coordinating travel
  • Participate in planning for SEEK benefactor experience and mission supporter journey
  • Collaborate on special projects with other departments as needed
