Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 4-6 years experience in event sales
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and event software
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of prospecting programs and event revenue optimization
  • 4-6 years previous experience in event sales with proven history of exceeding sales targets and managing complex, large-scale events
  • demonstrated proficiency in leadership, communication, and negotiation
  • dynamic personality with high energy, creativity, and attention to detail
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and Banquet Event Order software (Tripleseat preferred)
  • team-oriented attitude with ability to build strong relationships with clients, employees, and community leaders
  • undergraduate degree preferred
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • specialize in selling diverse event functions by assessing client needs and ensuring exceptional communication and satisfaction
  • actively network to identify leads and foster relationships with clients
  • collaborate with Executive Chef and General Manager to design profitable event menus
  • work closely with Marketing to uncover new business opportunities and attract clients
  • meet and uphold company sales standards through strategic planning
  • take on mentoring and leadership roles within the sales team
  • oversee larger, high-profile accounts and lead contract negotiations
  • engage in sales strategy, forecasting, and revenue planning
