Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel event sales or related sales roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in event sales software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel event sales
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Experience with event sales software such as Envision, Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, or similar
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Leadership experience or willingness to mentor junior team members
Job Duties
- Proactively solicit and secure new business for meetings, corporate events, banquets, and high-end social functions through direct sales, networking, and lead follow-up
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts and high-revenue groups, maintaining strong, long-term relationships
- Prepare detailed proposals, conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, and finalize event arrangements in alignment with brand standards and profitability goals
- Collaborate with the Banquets, Culinary, Engineering, Valet, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments throughout the event lifecycle from planning to post-event follow-up
- Meet and exceed individual and departmental sales and revenue targets
- Utilize event sales software to maintain accurate client and booking records
