Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel event sales or related sales roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in event sales software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel event sales
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Experience with event sales software such as Envision, Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, or similar
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Leadership experience or willingness to mentor junior team members

Job Duties

  • Proactively solicit and secure new business for meetings, corporate events, banquets, and high-end social functions through direct sales, networking, and lead follow-up
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and high-revenue groups, maintaining strong, long-term relationships
  • Prepare detailed proposals, conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, and finalize event arrangements in alignment with brand standards and profitability goals
  • Collaborate with the Banquets, Culinary, Engineering, Valet, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments throughout the event lifecycle from planning to post-event follow-up
  • Meet and exceed individual and departmental sales and revenue targets
  • Utilize event sales software to maintain accurate client and booking records
