Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
- At least 1 year of food and beverage experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent business communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Customer service oriented with an understanding of brand standards
- Knowledge of market trends and competition
- Ability to manage pressure, deadlines, and multiple events simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative with an understanding of banquet operations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with chefs and other departments
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent hotel sales experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel sales
- At least 1 year of food and beverage experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Creative event planning and design skills
- Experience with hospitality CRM systems such as Delphi, Daylight, Marriott CI/TY, or Starwood ISAC is a plus
- Polished and confident professional presence
Job Duties
- Meet with clients to understand their event needs and objectives
- Negotiate contracts and manage event proposals
- Coordinate with internal teams including catering, banquet, and operations to ensure flawless event execution
- Develop creative event concepts and customized menu options in collaboration with chefs
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
