Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience
  • At least 3 years of food and beverage experience
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership abilities to motivate team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Professional appearance
  • Strong interpersonal communication
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work well under pressure
  • Experience with hospitality sales CRM software

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning from initial stages to execution
  • Act as liaison between customers and hotel sales personnel
  • Provide direction and supervision during meeting, banquet functions, or events
  • Serve group and catering customers proactively handling logistics of room blocks, food, beverage, public meeting spaces, and billing
  • Be available onsite during events to resolve issues and suggest alternatives
  • Motivate and direct the event planning department to exceed goals
  • Manage contract negotiation and interpretation for events
