Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years food and beverage experience
  • experience in hotel sales or event planning
  • strong negotiation and contract interpretation skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication
  • leadership and team motivation ability
  • proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • professional appearance
  • effective public communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
  • 3 years food and beverage experience
  • strong understanding of negotiation and contract interpretation
  • developed business communication skills both written and verbal
  • ability to direct and motivate event planning team
  • working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
  • professional appearance and confidence
  • ability to communicate effectively with public and team members
  • strong time management skills
  • experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems

Job Duties

  • coordinate all aspects of events from initial planning to execution
  • act as liaison between customers and hotel sales personnel
  • provide direction and supervision during meetings, banquets, and events
  • be available during events to solve problems and suggest alternatives
  • serve group and catering customers proactively
  • manage logistics including group room blocks, food and beverage, meeting space, and billing
  • motivate and direct the event planning department to meet and exceed goals
