Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years hotel event planning experience
  • proven achievement in customer service satisfaction
  • proficiency with Envision sales, Envision Detailing Event Concierge, Event Concierge Console, Cognos, Hy-Res, Opera, Social Tables, Sertifi, Hyatt Credit Portal, Group Bill, Planner Portal, Clover/Simphony, Cendyn e-menus and e-brochure, EventBzz, Oracle, Track-It and Microsoft Office
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • preferred completion of Hyatt’s New Manager Training and Successful Selling Skills

Job Duties

  • Service group sales bookings
  • manage key hotel accounts
  • sell banquet food, beverage and meeting room rental services
  • coordinate with departments to ensure service delivery
  • manage executed sales agreements and banquet details
  • optimize client experience and manage room blocks
  • analyze group history and pick up performance
  • familiarize clients with Hyatt planner technology
  • serve as onsite point of contact for groups
  • handle administrative tasks and group billing
  • finalize post-convention reports
  • support team leadership duties including conflict resolution and client management
  • communicate client needs to hotel staff
  • support DOE and ADOE with event coordinator management
  • coordinate with meeting service providers and external partners
