Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years hotel event management experience
  • Familiarity with banquet event orders and rooming list deadlines
  • Ability to handle complex event coordination
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of hotel event management experience
  • Knowledge of banquet event orders (BEOs)
  • Experience handling group and event logistics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate between sales, hotel departments and customers
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Team player with excellent organizational skills
  • Proven ability to upsell and maximize event revenue

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Timely communicate with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints and grievances
  • Sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues
  • Ensure high quality service by guiding and coaching others
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
