Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of relevant hotel event management experience
- Proficient in handling banquet event orders and event logistics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of hotel event management experience
- Experience handling all groups and events
- Knowledge of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and deadlines for rooming lists and commissions
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities
- Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively
- Positive energetic attitude and team player mindset
- Proficiency with event planning and booking systems
- Ability to upsell and maximize event revenue
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities
Job Duties
- Organize plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone email written documents or in person
- Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems products booking systems and processes
- Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints settling disputes and resolving grievances and conflicts
- Sell and influence both internal and external clients
- Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution
- Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs providing direction and guidance feedback and individual coaching when needed
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
