Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in hotel event management
  • Strong knowledge of event documentation and coordination
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, hotel departments, and clients
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Positive and energetic attitude with team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of hotel event management experience
  • Proficiency in managing BEOs, rooming lists, and commissions
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively
  • Experience in upselling and client relationship management
  • Demonstrated leadership and team player qualities
  • Proficiency with booking and event management systems

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
  • Sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution
  • Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
