Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of event management experience
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- experience with groups and events of 100 or more attendees
- knowledge of hotel property management systems is a plus
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
- capability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively
- proficiency in sales and client relationship management

- At least 1-2 years of event management experience
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- comfortable managing groups and events of 100 or more attendees
- familiarity with hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc

- ability to maintain client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
- proficient in conflict resolution
- ability to upsell and maximize revenue opportunities
- experience supporting senior management roles
Job Duties
- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
- demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
- resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
- sell and influence both internal and external clients
- make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues and determining the best solution
- ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction, guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed
- participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
- perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
