Job Requirements

  • Education level relevant to event management or hospitality
  • at least 1-2 years of event management experience
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to handle and resolve conflicts
  • proficiency in event planning and coordination
  • teamwork and adaptability
  • proficiency with property management systems preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of event management experience
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • thrive in change and act as a team player
  • comfortable working on groups and events of 100 or more attendees
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc) is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
  • sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determining the best solution
  • ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction, guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed
  • participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
  • maintain regular attendance
