Job Requirements
- Education level relevant to event management or hospitality
- at least 1-2 years of event management experience
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication skills
- strong organizational skills
- ability to handle and resolve conflicts
- proficiency in event planning and coordination
- teamwork and adaptability
- proficiency with property management systems preferred
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of event management experience
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- thrive in change and act as a team player
- comfortable working on groups and events of 100 or more attendees
- knowledge of hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc) is advantageous
Job Duties
- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
- demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
- resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
- sell and influence both internal and external clients
- make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determining the best solution
- ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction, guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed
- participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
- perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
- maintain regular attendance
