Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in event management or related field
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in hotel property management systems preferred
- ability to manage large groups and complex events
- reliable and punctual
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of event management experience
- knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational and planning abilities
- proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- ability to upsell and maximize event revenue
Job Duties
- Organize plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone email written documents or in person
- create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
- demonstrate knowledge of job systems products systems and processes
- resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints settling disputes and resolving grievances and conflicts
- sell and influence both internal and external clients
- make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues and determining the best solution
