Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in event management or related field
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • proficiency in hotel property management systems preferred
  • ability to manage large groups and complex events
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of event management experience
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and planning abilities
  • proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • ability to upsell and maximize event revenue

Job Duties

  • Organize plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone email written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems products systems and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints settling disputes and resolving grievances and conflicts
  • sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues and determining the best solution
