Job Requirements

  • At least four years of event management experience in a hotel environment
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proactive leadership qualities
  • Availability to participate in customer site inspections

Job Qualifications

  • Four or more years of event experience within a mid- to large-size hotel
  • Strong understanding of hotel event operations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage large-scale events and multiple client relationships
  • Experience with event booking systems and processes

Job Duties

  • Oversee event documentation and coordination with sales, hotel departments, and customers
  • Ensure consistent, high-level service throughout pre-event, event, and post-event phases
  • Handle complex events and ensure seamless turnover from sales to service and back
  • Maximize revenue through upselling and offering event enhancements
  • Serve as primary event planner contact on property and manage client experience
  • Organize and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external clients via phone, email, and in person
