Job Requirements

  • minimum 4 years of event experience within a mid- to large-size hotel
  • strong knowledge of hotel event operations
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • proven ability to lead and problem-solve
  • proficiency with event management systems

  • availability to work flexible hours and weekends

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints and disputes
  • sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues
  • ensure high quality service by providing guidance, feedback, and coaching
  • participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process
