Job Requirements
- Two years of hotel event manager experience at a large, big box property
- Experience with Delphi Amadeus Salesforce FDC program highly preferred
- Ability to forecast group events and collect payments
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Leadership ability to manage and develop teams
- Availability to work in Dallas, TX
Job Qualifications
- Two years of hotel event manager experience at large properties
- Experience with Delphi, Amadeus, Salesforce and FDC systems preferred
- Proven ability in forecasting group events and collecting payments
- Strong negotiation skills
- Leadership experience in team management
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in managing complex multi-day events
Job Duties
- Execute written sales agreements for large-scale meetings and events
- Negotiate vendor partner and service agreements
- Maintain customer and hotel relationships to ensure account servicing
- Initiate communication with customers and hotel departments detailing event specifics
- Partner with operations departments for event execution
- Monitor and develop team member performance
- Recruit, interview and train team members
