Hilton Anaheim is a prominent hotel property situated just one mile from Disneyland and directly across from the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County, California. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of event management experience
  • experience in large or big box hotel operation preferred
  • proficiency with Delphi event management software preferred
  • leadership experience
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
  • conflict resolution skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
  • valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of event management experience
  • previous experience within large or big box hotel operation preferred
  • working knowledge of Delphi is highly preferred
  • leadership experience preferred
  • strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively
  • proficiency in event planning and coordination
  • customer service focus
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to build and maintain client relationships

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
  • selling and influencing both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution
  • ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and individual coaching when needed
  • participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
