Job Requirements

  • minimum one year event management experience
  • flexible schedule based on groups in house and client meetings
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc preferred
  • event management experience within hotel industry and/or Hilton background advantageous

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of one year event management experience
  • experience in hotel event management preferred
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively
  • sales and upselling skills
  • flexibility in working hours based on event schedules

Job Duties

  • organize and plan event duties by developing plans and goals
  • communicate timely to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate while handling complaints and settling disputes
  • sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues
