Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year event management experience
  • flexible schedule based off groups in house and client meetings
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems
  • event management experience within the hotel industry and/or Hilton background

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year event management experience
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • event management experience within the hotel industry and/or Hilton background
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • communicate timely to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances
  • sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues and determining the best solution
  • ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction, guidance, feedback and coaching
  • participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
  • maintain regular attendance
