Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year event management experience
  • flexible schedule based on group bookings and client meetings
  • ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • proficiency in hotel management software
  • strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year event management experience
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • experience in event management within the hotel industry or Hilton background
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and planning abilities
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules
  • proficiency in customer service

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints
  • sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues
  • ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs
  • participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales process
  • other duties as necessary based on business needs
