Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year event management experience
- flexible schedule based on group bookings and client meetings
- ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- proficiency in hotel management software
- strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- ability to work under pressure
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year event management experience
- knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
- experience in event management within the hotel industry or Hilton background
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational and planning abilities
- problem-solving skills
- ability to work flexible schedules
- proficiency in customer service
Job Duties
- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations
- demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
- resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints
- sell and influence both internal and external clients
- make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues
- ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs
- participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales process
- other duties as necessary based on business needs
