- minimum of one year event management experience
- flexible schedule based on groups in house and client meetings
- ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients

Job Qualifications
- knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
- event management experience within the hotel industry
- prior experience working in a Hilton property is advantageous
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational and planning abilities
- ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate
- sales and upselling capabilities
- problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
- demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
- resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
- sell and influence both internal and external clients
- make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution
