Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- two years of event management experience in hospitality
- leadership experience managing small teams
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle multiple priorities
- proficient in event management software preferred
- strong interpersonal skills
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- problem-solving capabilities
- commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of previous event management experience in the hospitality industry
- experience supervising or managing a team of one to three individuals
- familiarity with Delphi.FDC is beneficial
- strong organizational and communication skills
- proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- knowledge of event management systems, products and processes
- ability to work collaboratively across departments

Job Duties
- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- timely communication with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
- demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
- resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes and resolving grievances and conflicts
- make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solution
- ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction, guidance, feedback and coaching when needed
- participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
- other duties as necessary based on business needs
