Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, meeting/event planning, or related field
- Five or more years of event management experience
- CMP certification or in process of acquiring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate-to-advanced computing proficiency
- Ability to handle high-stress situations
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and independent
- Willingness to travel
- Must have home office setup with computer, cell phone, and standard equipment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, meeting/event planning, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in event management with proven track record
- CMP certification or actively pursuing CMP preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computing skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and handle high-stress situations
- Excellent organizational and people skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with diverse teams
- Quick learner with strong knowledge of company products and services
- Ability to work reliably from home with necessary office equipment
Job Duties
- Plan and execute complex events ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards
- Manage on-site event operations directing all staff and vendors
- Handle post-event invoicing and billing reconciliation providing information to Accounting
- Assist in creating proposals and transportation manifests
- Conduct or participate in site inspections supporting sales and planning
- Cultivate and maintain ongoing communication with clients to understand and meet their needs
- Mentor and train new team members while attending company staff and client meetings
