Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in event management or related hospitality role
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand and move throughout event spaces for extended periods
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • valid driver's license preferred
  • ability to pass background check and drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
  • proven experience in event management or hospitality
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities
  • proficiency with event management software
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning from inception to execution
  • act as liaison between customers and hotel sales personnel
  • provide direction and supervision during meetings, banquet functions, and events
  • be available during events to resolve issues and suggest alternatives
  • serve group and catering customers proactively
  • manage logistics including room blocks, food and beverage, meeting spaces, and billing processes
  • ensure events exceed guest expectations
