Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of event management experience
- proven ability to handle complex event logistics
- experience managing budgets over $1 million
- strong communication and leadership skills
- proficiency with event management software
- ability to travel as required
- reliable and detail-oriented work ethic
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of events management experience
- experience managing complex user or customer conferences with 800+ attendees
- experience building, managing, and reconciling budgets of $1MM+
- exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- meticulous project management skills
- strong collaboration, communication, and leadership abilities
- proficiency with event technology platforms
- ability to travel 6-8 times per year or as needed
- experience running large-scale SaaS company events preferred
- familiarity with CVENT preferred
Job Duties
- Meeting with internal stakeholders to collaborate on event needs, goals, and success metrics
- developing comprehensive and organized event plans including timelines, schedules, and task assignments
- coordinating with vendors, venues, and service providers
- managing event requirements such as registration, contracts, event landing pages, reporting, and materials shipping
- developing and executing marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team
- overseeing event operations on the day, handling issues, and managing event staff
- creating and managing event budgets including cost control and reconciliation
- conducting post-event analysis and updating success reports
- serving as the lead project manager for the annual iPX conference including vendor sourcing, contracting, speaker coordination, AV management, and overall event strategy
- other duties as assigned by the company
