- prior cleaning experience preferred
- ability to use computer
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety and cleaning protocols
- flexibility to work various shifts
- ability to access and work in secure areas as needed
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to use computer
- prior cleaning experience helpful
- knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and chemicals helpful
- strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
- previous healthcare custodial experience preferred
- yearly certification required if assigned to AORN terminal cleaning or pharmacy rooms per 797 standards
Job Duties
- ensure facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner
- support day-to-day operation of the environmental services department
- provide equipment and supplies for daily assignments
- respond to service requests
- assist with training new staff
- perform minor equipment maintenance
- participate in quality assurance inspections and project work
