Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior cleaning experience
- ability to use computers
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- willingness to undergo required certifications if applicable
- availability to work day shifts totaling 24 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful
- knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful
- strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required
- previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
- certifications required if assigned to AORN terminal cleaning or pharmacy rooms per 797 standards
Job Duties
- ensure staff have the equipment and supplies needed for their daily assignments
- respond to service requests promptly
- assist with training of new or existing staff
- perform minor equipment maintenance
- cover sick calls as needed
- assist with quality assurance inspections
- participate in project work assigned by leadership
