Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to use computer
  • prior cleaning experience helpful
  • knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and chemicals helpful
  • strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
  • previous custodial experience in healthcare preferred
  • yearly certifications required if assigned to AORN terminal cleaning or pharmacy room standards

Job Duties

  • Coordinate with environmental services leadership team
  • ensure availability of equipment and supplies for staff
  • respond to service requests
  • assist with staff training
  • perform minor equipment maintenance
  • cover sick calls as needed
  • support quality assurance inspections and project work
