Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior cleaning experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- ability to work evening shifts Monday-Friday and every other weekend
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- strong communication skills
- basic computer proficiency
- ability to attend required training and maintain certifications if applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to use computer
- prior cleaning experience helpful
- knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment, and chemicals helpful
- strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- previous custodial experience in healthcare preferred
- yearly certification required for AORN terminal cleaning or pharmacy rooms if assigned
Job Duties
- Ensure staff have equipment and supplies needed for daily assignments
- respond to service requests
- assist with training staff
- perform minor equipment maintenance
- cover sick calls as needed
- assist with quality assurance inspections
- participate in project work to improve facility standards
