Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 10 to 12 years of management experience in technology or digital media/commerce
- Knowledge of food retail industry
- Ability to lead strategic technology initiatives
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in AI platforms and Microsoft Office 365
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work in a hybrid office environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree focused on technology, business administration, marketing, or food/consumer products
- Minimum 10 to 12 years of management experience in technology or digital media/commerce
- Experience in food retail and consumer goods industries
- Strong understanding of technology benefits in food industry operations
- Ability to create and follow project plans
- Community builder with stakeholder influence skills
- Comfortable interacting with varied organizational levels
- Proficient with AI platforms and Microsoft Office 365
- Strong oral and written communication and public speaking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Strong customer service, meeting facilitation, and team building skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Highly adaptable and responsive to business needs
Job Duties
- Direct the formulation of FMI technology strategic plan and annual operating budget
- Manage and coordinate activities of FMI assigned committees, councils, and subcommittees
- Drive technology-related innovation, community engagement, revenue growth, and cost savings strategies
- Manage and coordinate the Technology Council and designated workgroups
- Develop and manage technology summits, meetings, forums, or conference calls
- Lead and guide annual technology and digital-related industry engagements
- Identify strategic research relevant to the technology community
