Job Requirements
- BS or BA degree in business or supply chain
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain management
- Ability to build business processes from the ground up
- Strong communication skills with all organizational levels
- Ability to influence and collaborate departmentally
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Experience in tactical demand planning and data-driven recommendations
- Experience developing demand planning processes
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
- Capacity to analyze multiple data sets and provide business insights
- Experience working with both internal and external supply sources
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Superior communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Global supply chain experience is an advantage
- Professional certifications preferred such as APICS or ISM

- Exemplary verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties
- Lead the Sales Business Unit (SBU) Demand Reviews supporting Sales and Operations Planning
- Develop, monitor, and manage seasonal production and long-range product demand plans using statistical analysis
- Collaborate with sales, product line management, and operations to support demand and supply planning
- Review monthly sales forecasts with sales teams to ensure accuracy
- Analyze customer pull rates versus contract terms and communicate variances
- Build and maintain detailed sales forecast variance reports
- Drive consensus on supply availability across agricultural operations, product line management, and manufacturing
- Develop crop, drier, mill, packaging, irradiation, and toasting plans to support demand
- Lead planning strategies to achieve high forecast accuracy and on-time order fulfillment
- Enhance supply chain strategies by evaluating best practices and technological advances
- Plan and coordinate monthly ordering processes to meet key performance targets
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focusing on forecast and inventory process optimization
- Participate in S&OP process execution and present plans to management for consensus
- Develop and support plans to reduce excess and slow-moving inventory
- Map inventory and positions against forecasted and contracted demand
- Highlight inventory excesses and deficits and recommend timely solutions
- Track aging inventory and propose utilization strategies
- Optimize inventory use to maximize business profitability
- Forecast crop year mix and recommend inventory blocks for cost savings
- Align crop and annual sales forecasts to recommend appropriate crop plans and fraction splits
- Conduct scenario planning for crop risk and develop mitigation strategies
