Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
  • 7+ years of experience in aircraft leasing, technical asset management, or MRO/engineering
  • Strong knowledge of FAA/EASA regulatory requirements
  • Experience with lease structures and aircraft maintenance programs
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent technical assessment and risk evaluation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in aircraft leasing, technical asset management, or MRO/engineering with significant exposure to documentation and transaction support
  • A&P license is a plus
  • Deep understanding of FAA/EASA requirements, lease structures, and aircraft maintenance programs
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess risk and opportunity from a technical lens
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and cross-functional workflows

Job Duties

  • Lead technical due diligence for aircraft and engine acquisitions, sales, and portfolio trades
  • Support pricing and decision-making with accurate technical insight and risk assessment
  • Provide real-time input on asset condition, documentation gaps, and technical risk
  • Review aircraft inspection reports, status summaries, and maintenance histories to support deal structuring and execution
  • Assist in developing budgets for maintenance and capital expenditures
  • Manage internal and external technical representatives during sales, placements, and redeliveries
  • Maintain project trackers and ensure technical milestones are met to align with deal closing dates
  • Provide technical input for letters of intent, leases, and sale and purchase agreements
  • Define and negotiate technical language around delivery conditions, return conditions, and maintenance covenants
  • Support redelivery planning, early termination scenarios, and mid-lease modifications
  • Coordinate with the Technical Records team to ensure completeness and compliance with return conditions
  • Make informed decisions on acceptable items, resolution needs, or execution risks
  • Help refine technical templates, project trackers, inspection forms, and open item close-out processes
  • Participate in post-mortem reviews to identify bottlenecks or recurring issues in transition and trading support
