Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in business management operations or related field
- minimum 10 years experience in games industry or related operational leadership
- experience managing studio operations or equivalent complex organizations
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in hybrid or on site location in Los Angeles Del Rey area
- proficiency with project management tools and operational frameworks
- excellent problem solving and decision making capabilities
- exceptional communication skills with cross functional teams
- commitment to diversity equity and inclusion in the workplace
- authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- extensive experience in studio or operations leadership roles
- strong understanding of game development lifecycle especially in first person shooters
- proven ability to lead and mentor large diverse teams
- expertise in financial and workforce planning
- excellent strategic planning and operational execution skills
- background in managing multi site organizations or distributed teams
- strong communication and collaboration abilities
- experience with project management and operational metrics tracking
- ability to foster healthy culture and high performance environments
- familiarity with budgeting forecasting and infrastructure management
Job Duties
- lead with a franchise first mentality balancing studio and player needs
- promote vision mission and strategic programs across the Battlefield franchise
- maintain and develop a healthy culture through mentorship and leadership growth
- ensure success conditions for game teams fostering excellence and accountability
- partner with VP GM North America and operational leaders to align global studio goals
- champion studio culture and leadership development programs
- support game development processes including studio role in Battlefield GDF processes
- own Ripple Effect and Motive studio operations ensuring seamless collaboration
- partner with production craft and support leaders to simplify day to day operations
- continuously assess and improve planning communication and delivery removing bottlenecks
- lead operational planning across multiple sites ensuring efficiency
- build and maintain long range studio plans anticipating growth hiring and facility needs
- provide visibility into team capacity and priorities maintaining alignment
- manage dependencies with other Battlefield studios
- track operational metrics including space staffing and engagement taking proactive action
- adapt planning methods to project phase ensuring clarity and efficiency
- manage studio budgets forecasting and financial planning with VP GM and Finance
- oversee space and infrastructure planning for smooth scaling
- lead workforce planning and talent growth initiatives with People Experience TA and Facilities
- maintain studio dashboards tracking operational health engagement and capacity
- partner with People Experience to drive engagement leadership and recognition programs
