Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field
- Extensive experience in leadership roles within software or technology companies
- Proven track record of strategic business development and execution
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel regularly including international travel
- Experience working in matrix organizations
- Ability to manage and inspire cross-functional and remote teams
- Knowledge of vacation rental market or property management software is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience designing and delivering technology-driven business solutions to small and medium-sized software businesses
- Previous experience in business and organization change management including migrations, consolidations and integrations
- Experience managing multiple teams across different locations, including international teams
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and execute across direct and indirect teams
- Experience in marketing and re-branding during strategic redirection
- Excellent presentation skills in front of large audiences including internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record in identifying, hiring, training, developing, and retaining strong teams
- Experience driving large scale change in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions a plus
- P&L ownership and management experience
Job Duties
- Lead the Escapia Software business strategy and execution towards a new solution with maximization of competitive advantage on both technology and commercial terms
- Create new commercial terms for the business that will drive revenue based on Expedia and Vrbo business initiatives and positioning the software competitively in the market
- Ensure alignment between people, processes, goals and strategies to drive precise execution of business objectives
- Determine key business KPIs and report metrics to track the success of current business as well as the new business model moving forward
- Provide leadership and direction to the leaders of the Escapia Software Marketing and Sales teams to meet or exceed acquisition and account management goals
- Build an inspiring culture by attracting, developing, and retaining talented team members
- Work in partnership with the product management and development teams to establish a compelling product vision and roadmap
