Job Qualifications

- proven success leading enterprise-scale projects in global matrixed organizations
- experience in globally relevant and culturally nuanced leadership development
- ability to shape strategy, set vision, and drive execution without direct authority
- advanced expertise in leadership development architecture
- strong business acumen with operational strategy translation skills
- experience partnering with VP and SVP level leaders
- expertise in data, assessment, and analytics
- exceptional executive communication and facilitation skills
- experience with modern learning technologies and global vendor partnerships preferred
Job Duties
- define and lead global strategy, vision, and governance model for GM development
- establish enterprise-wide GM development ecosystem covering onboarding, learning, assessment, readiness, and succession
- ensure GM development aligns with Marriott’s business strategy and leadership philosophy
- set global standards, frameworks, and success metrics while allowing regional flexibility
- own the global GM development portfolio and clarify role-based pathways
- guide design and evolution of flagship GM programs leveraging best-in-class learning methodologies
- oversee integration of diagnostics, assessments, feedback, and experiential learning
- serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior HR, Operations, and Brand leaders
- partner with continent learning and operations leaders to drive adoption and accountability
- influence senior stakeholders to prioritize leadership capability for hotel performance
- represent GM development in enterprise talent and succession discussions
- establish and lead measurement and insights strategy linking development investments to business outcomes
- use data and analytics for continuous program improvement
- provide enterprise-level reporting on GM capability and readiness
- stay abreast of global hospitality and leadership trends
- drive innovation through experimentation and external partnerships
- champion continuous learning and leadership excellence culture
