Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience managing benefits within a large global organization
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. benefits programs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources effectively
  • Experience working with healthcare actuaries and finance leaders
  • Knowledge of federal and state benefits-related laws and compliance requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Capable of leading large-scale change initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of diverse benefits leadership experience in a large, global organization
  • Demonstrated technical depth in U.S. benefits
  • Experience redesigning legacy programs with innovative solutions
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and influencing at all organizational levels
  • Strong decision-making and organizational skills
  • Preferred experience managing a team
  • Preferred experience in the hospitality industry
  • Preferred experience designing and leading benefits programs

Job Duties

  • Partner with Total Rewards and benefits leadership to develop and execute the benefits strategy
  • Influence senior leadership across the company to ensure support for and alignment around programs impacting company performance
  • Manage diverse associate benefits and absence programs
  • Ensure benefits program materials and communications highlight Marriott's Total Rewards and People First focus
  • Leverage data, insights and trends to inform program design, strategy and performance measures
  • Manage vendor relationships, contractual terms and operations to optimize service and cost
  • Stay current on industry best practices, legislative changes and market evaluations to maintain program compliance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote benefits programs, drive engagement and support holistic well-being
