Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience managing benefits within a large global organization
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. benefits programs
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources effectively
- Experience working with healthcare actuaries and finance leaders
- Knowledge of federal and state benefits-related laws and compliance requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Capable of leading large-scale change initiatives
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of diverse benefits leadership experience in a large, global organization
- Demonstrated technical depth in U.S. benefits
- Experience redesigning legacy programs with innovative solutions
- Skilled in stakeholder management and influencing at all organizational levels
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills
- Preferred experience managing a team
- Preferred experience in the hospitality industry
- Preferred experience designing and leading benefits programs
Job Duties
- Partner with Total Rewards and benefits leadership to develop and execute the benefits strategy
- Influence senior leadership across the company to ensure support for and alignment around programs impacting company performance
- Manage diverse associate benefits and absence programs
- Ensure benefits program materials and communications highlight Marriott's Total Rewards and People First focus
- Leverage data, insights and trends to inform program design, strategy and performance measures
- Manage vendor relationships, contractual terms and operations to optimize service and cost
- Stay current on industry best practices, legislative changes and market evaluations to maintain program compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote benefits programs, drive engagement and support holistic well-being
