Job Requirements

  • 5 years minimum event experience in a corporate environment
  • Willing to travel an average of 4-6 times per year, each about one week long, for onsite support and event planning trips
  • Available to work overtime and weekends occasionally to accommodate heavy workloads before events
  • Experience using online registration management software
  • Familiarity with accounting and billing processes
  • Comfortable working collaboratively as a team and sharing responsibilities
  • Demonstrated leadership by example exhibiting integrity, enthusiasm, and commitment to results
  • History of successful execution of multiple events with opposing priorities
  • Program and project skills with focus on detail and ability to handle stress and urgent requests
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years event experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience using online registration management software
  • Familiarity with accounting and billing processes
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating integrity, enthusiasm, and commitment to results
  • History of successfully executing multiple events with competing priorities
  • Strong program and project management skills with attention to detail and ability to handle stress and last-minute requests
  • Willingness to travel 4-6 times per year for onsite support
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends occasionally

Job Duties

  • Manage housing lists, audio visual orders, room set-ups and develop menus for events ranging in size from 50 to 900 people
  • Help develop and proof content for event website, event emails and other event collateral
  • Create event registration websites using the provided registration management software
  • Reconcile event cost center budgets of more than $5 million with Corporate Events Director and team
  • Create detailed timelines for corporate events involving outside vendors, Creative Services and multiple Experian teams
  • Work directly with Experian management, outside vendors, resort management and clients
  • Support survey summary reports and post-event reporting to identify success metrics and opportunities
  • Refine and monitor standardized workflow processes for event planning and management
  • Develop relevant event databases and mailing lists
  • Provide onsite support at major events when assigned
  • Bring energy, creativity and new ideas to contribute to a successful event team
