Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of Line Cook experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Chef’s apprentice certification preferred
  • Certified Professional Food Managers certification preferred
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Reasonable accommodation may be made for disabilities
  • Consistent attendance required

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule
  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement
  • Knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP and ServSafe certification
  • Ability to train and lead team members in absence of culinary leadership
  • Strong food preparation skills and knowledge of allergen information
  • Experience with inventory processes and temperature log maintenance

Job Duties

  • Prepares and cooks food at all kitchen stations to meet Universal standards
  • Monitors food safety compliance among Line Cooks
  • Conducts opening and closing procedures of kitchen stations
  • Interacts professionally with guests when necessary
  • Trains new Team Members on food safety and preparation standards
  • Assists Sous Chef with ordering, receiving, and inventory management
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of workstations
