Job Requirements

  • Previous cooking, high volume, and scratch experience required
  • Ability to comply with HACCP guidelines
  • Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform food preparation duties satisfactorily
  • Must be available for full-time schedule
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cooking experience
  • Experience in high volume food preparation
  • Experience in scratch cooking
  • Ability to work full time schedule
  • Strong culinary skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to follow established recipes
  • Experience with kitchen equipment operation
  • Teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
  • Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes
  • Operates and cleans equipment after each use
  • Performs scheduled routine cleaning
  • Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy
  • Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
  • Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
  • Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned
  • Assists in the cross training of employees
  • Performs other duties as assigned
