Job Requirements
- 3 years of related experience preferred
- Ability to work full time including flexible schedule
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to comply with company safety policies including the use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
Job Qualifications
- 3 years of previous related experience is preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
- Ability to follow established recipes and maintain food quality
- Experience operating and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible full-time schedule
- Team leadership and supervisory skills
Job Duties
- May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
- Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes
- Operates and cleans equipment after each use
- Performs scheduled routine cleaning
- Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy
- Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
- Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
