Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of related work experience preferred
  • Valid food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a kitchen environment
  • Must be adaptable and reliable
  • Open availability to work varying shifts
  • Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years related cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and cooking instructions
  • Experience in food portioning and presentation
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours with open availability
  • Commitment to reducing food waste and improving kitchen efficiency

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Follow complex recipes and/or product directions
  • Produce small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical and contemporary cooking, plating, and garnishing techniques
  • May oversee production staff, train, and assign tasks
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
