Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen experience required
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 11:30 am to 7:30 pm
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Familiarity with HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to follow recipes and prepare food to standards
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience supervising or overseeing kitchen staff preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
  • Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes
  • Operate and clean equipment after each use and perform scheduled routine cleaning
  • Store, label, and date food items according to policy
  • Maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
  • Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations
  • Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete required documentation
  • Assist in cross training of employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
