Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum four years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- Ability to follow complex recipes and cooking instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts including rotating weekends
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- Four or more years of related work experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Strong culinary skills including knowledge of classical and contemporary cooking techniques
- Experience in food preparation and portion control
- Ability to train and oversee production staff
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a safe and healthy working environment
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Follow complex recipes and/or product directions
- Produce small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical and contemporary cooking, plating and garnishing techniques
- May have oversight over the production staff train and assign tasks
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned dependent on business necessities and client requirements
