Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four or more years of related work experience preferred
- Ability to work mornings, varying days and some weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to the Hazelwood Residential Facility
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
- Compliance with food safety standards
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a healthy, safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- Team-oriented and adaptable
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Experience in food preparation and cooking
- Ability to follow complex recipes and instructions
- Skills in food presentation and plating
- Experience in training and supervising staff preferred
- Minimum of four years related work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events
- Follow complex recipes and/or product directions
- Produce small to large batch goods using advanced classical and contemporary cooking, plating, and garnishing techniques
- Oversee production staff by training and assigning tasks
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
