Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • open availability preferred
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow complex recipes and prepare diverse menus
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen-related tasks

Job Duties

  • accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • follow complex recipes and/or product directions
  • produce small to large batch goods using advanced classical and contemporary cooking, plating and garnishing techniques
  • oversee production staff, train and assign tasks
  • attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • perform other duties as assigned according to business necessities and client requirements
