Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of experience as a cook
- currently dated Food Handler's Permit from County/State Health Department if required by the state
- excellent communication skills
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work well on a team
- basic computer knowledge

- strong organizational and time management skills
- flexibility to adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Prepare quality, nutritious, and appealing food and beverage products for customers and patients under specialized care
- operate in alignment with established Food and Dietetic nutritional guidelines
- comply with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards
- relay leaderships' directions to culinary team members
- train culinary team members on required competencies
- provide leadership with frequent reports related to working conditions and food quality
- perform general department audits
