Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of cooking experience
  • Currently dated Food Handler's Permit from County or State Health Department if required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Possession of currently dated Food Handler's Permit
  • ServeSafe certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office

  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare quality nutritious and attractive food and beverage products
  • Operate in alignment with established Food and Dietetic nutritional guidelines
  • Comply with all sanitation health and personal hygiene standards
  • Relay leadership directives to culinary team members
  • Train team members on culinary competencies
  • Provide leadership with reports on working conditions and food quality
  • Perform general department audits
