Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of four years of professional cooking experience
- Ability to work weekend afternoon and evening shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow complex recipes and maintain food safety standards
- Commitment to reduce food waste
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Four or more years of related work experience preferred
- Team-oriented and adaptable
- Reliable and committed to nurturing a healthy and safe working environment
- Skilled in classical and contemporary cooking techniques
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to lead and train production staff
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Follow complex recipes and/or product directions
- Produce small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical and contemporary cooking, plating and garnishing techniques
- Oversee production staff, train and assign tasks
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned according to business necessities and client requirements
